Students at Olson are actively engaged in their learning both invidually and in cooperative groups. We will use FOSS Science, Four Block Math and Balanced Literacy as models and programs to support academic achievement.   We will also be focusing on our new TCI Social Studies materials which your child should find very engaging.  Socially, we will incorporate and expand our "Above the Line" positive behavior program that focuses on explicit teaching of positive behaviors and work to form meaningful relationships with people.

Our school has an excellent after school program provided by YMCA.  Our building is often used after school hours by many other organizations, such as MSCR, to benefit everyone in our community
